The catch copy for that first record was (if I remember correctly) "Ereeto saundo '68: oshare musume to kizoku yaro!" Which I would translate as "The Elite sound of '68: Fashionable Chick and Aristocratic Bastards!" Pretty damn cool.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16605980.post-49436488906471615542011-06-29T15:16:46.274+01:002011-06-29T15:16:46.274+01:00Thank you for the comment, it's never too late...Thank you for the comment, it's never too late to comment on older reviews.

If Pinky and the Killwrs dressed like that in '69, then their fashions predate CLOCKWORK ORANGE, so it's important to point it out. Bit late with this comment, ...Greetings from Japan. Bit late with this comment, but as a true showa kayo fan I have to butt in. That's not Clockwork Orange, that's Pinky and Killers, the group that put out the song "Koi no Kisetsu" (season of love), which seems to feature pretty heavily in the film. I think it's from '68 or '69. The song was a massive hit, and there's also a (pretty shit) film called "Koi no Kisetsu" based entirely around it, starring the lead singer of the band. Here's the opening credits, featuring the group singing the tune - the best bit of the movie:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnNECvqGiV4Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16605980.post-31145497013747711452010-09-13T23:04:44.311+01:002010-09-13T23:04:44.311+01:00Definitely I missed a lot of the humour.
